About me
Welcome to from the weeds, a naturopathic care clinic.
This is Annabelle writing and, first things first, I’d like to acknowledge the traditional owners of this country and all countries that are known as Australia. I work on never-ceded Dharug land, also known as Sydney. I am grateful to be here.
from the weeds is an online-only naturopathic care clinic. To book click here.
A bit about me:
I am Annabelle, founder of from the weeds. I believe in the healing power of nature, including both plant-power and community connection. I help others by supporting all degrees of health and aim to improve wellbeing and provide allyship and care. Part of my job is as a "body-translator", which means I help identify connections between body systems that might not be clear at first. Another part of my job is to assist you in achieving your health goal. Whatever it is, I'll do what I can to help you get there.
When I’m not in clinic you can find me at the park, library, or sourcing suitable snacks. Did I mention I’m the mum of a toddler? When I’m neither consulting nor parenting, I’m reading, cooking, or walking. My love of herbal medicine started part-way through a social work degree, so when I completed that I walked from one uni to another and started on a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy). These two degrees complement each other so well and I love where I’ve landed.
You can find booking here.
I hope to meet you soon, so we can start working together.
Love from the weeds,
Annabelle

Frequently asked questions
What does “from the weeds”, mean?
Great question. Tell any naturopath about a lawn infested with ‘weeds’ to be met with some sort of rebuttal that those dandelions are actually medicinal! On the other hand, the phrase ‘in the weeds’ means to be overwhelmed by or stuck. With that, we have a source of medicine and a path through our health concerns, both… from the weeds.
Why is the first appointment longer?
The beauty of being a naturopath is that I get time to get to know you and your body's symptom expression. This means asking questions about how your body and mind are functioning overall, and can be quite detailed. It can be tiring so it helps to have some water or tea, and a snack, with you and we can break at any point.
What is the investment?
An initial consultation is 75min and costs $120. A long follow-up is 50min and $90. An acute follow-up is 30min and $60.
Do we have to talk over google meet?
No, we don’t. You can opt for either a phone call or text-based appointment if you prefer. I can also be added to videophones (like Konnect Videophone) where required.
Some of my naturopathic assessments will be limited, but these are still valuable appointments and you’ll receive a prescription and treatment plan if you want one.
How do I receive herbal remedies?
I use an online herbal dispensary called Ariya to deliver any herbal prescription or supplements to you. Occasionally I also use a dispensary called Vital.ly. Herbal remedies arrive a few days after our appointment.
